The BY-BM3031 On-Camera Shogun Microphone from Boya is a broadcast-quality microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern that can be used to capture audio for camcorders, DSLRs, audio recorders, and more. It can be used by videographers, sound designers. and film producers in outdoor or indoor applications. The BY-BM3031 shotgun microphone features a two-step, high-pass filter (flat, 80 Hz), a three position level control (-10 dB, 0, and +20 dB), which offers better control of your sound input. There is a headphones output jack to monitor the audio being recorded on the rear panel of the microphone. This allows you to prevent mistakes if your sound is too hot or too low. IIn addition, the microphone is powered by two AA batteries. It is built with a 1/4"-20 threaded mount, and equipped with a 1/8" (3.5 mm) integrated coiled cable.
